Fixed Volume Sample System

When process sample pressure is too high, or the application calls for a fixed amount of sample, Texas Sampling's fixed volume sampler is a perfect selection. By turning one valve, you can isolate sample pressure, purge sample bottle before dispensing, and verify purge flow. Internally, our valve combines four different functions. A specific amount of sample is captured in a fixed volume chamber and blown down into the sample container with low pressure nitrogen. We further enhance our system with our Process Needle Purge (PNP) feature.

Standard Plate Size 10" x 15"
Standard Materials of Construction All tubing, valves, cylinders and fittings come standard as Stainless Steel, Monel and Hastelloy C. Seats and Seals - Teflon.

Features Benefits
Easily operated with one valve Operator friendly.
Sample, bypass, blowdown and purge integrated into one valve.
Fixed volume chamber Higher pressures are acceptable - process is isolated in fixed volume chamber and blown down with low pressure nitrogen.
Eliminates overfilling of sample bottle.
Lab can specify exact amount of process desired.
N2 rotameter on front of panel Operator can check status of system.
Replaceable process needle .065" to .203" Easy to remove with minimal cost.
Allows versatility when considering pressure, viscosity and size of sample.
.109, .148, .203 process needle with teflon coating Reduces friction when puncturing septa.
Replaceable pencil point vent needle Prevents vapor vent from plugging.
Prevents over pressuring of sample bottle.
Easy to remove with minimal cost.
Shroud assembly with viewing windows Allows operator to see process filling bottle while taking a sample.
Protects sample bottle.
Connection is the same for all sizes from 1 oz. to 1 gal. - allowing versatility at minimal cost should the customer need to change bottle size.
Sleeve Allows customer choice of sample bottle size.
Guides sample bottle so needle will insert in septa.
Operation and identification tags provided on front of panel Step by step operating procedures.
Operator can verify at all times what mode system is in.
Installation/Operation Manual Provides vital information for installation, operation and maintenance.
